This short course is the perfect introduction to the world of pet gun dog training, helping you understand your dog’s natural instincts while building teamwork, focus and a stronger partnership. Over two weeks, we’ll introduce you to: 🐾 Whistle Recall – Learn how to introduce and use a whistle to build a reliable recall. 🐾 Sit & Stay – Develop steadiness, self-control and the foundations of impulse control. 🐾 Quartering – Discover how to encourage your dog to search an area with you, using their natural hunting instincts while remaining connected to you. 🐾 Life on a Shoot – Explore the different roles within a shooting day, from picking-up dogs to working alongside other gundogs, and learn what’s expected of dogs and handlers. 🐾 Everyday Walks, Real-Life Skills – Find out how to incorporate the skills you learn into your everyday walks, making them more engaging, purposeful and fun for both you and your dog. Learn from Real Experience With over 30 years in the dog industry, Amanda brings a wealth of practical knowledge and hands-on experience to her training. She doesn’t just teach gundog skills – she actively trains, works and competes with her own gundogs, bringing real-life experience from the training field to every class.
